The David Cardno Fatherhood Initiative

Fathers matter. Their positive involvement builds stronger families and individuals.

The David Cardno Fatherhood Initiative was created in 2000 by the Martin County Healthy Start Coalition to address the issue of father absence in our community. Since then, it has grown into a center for valuable support by offering parenting classes to all fathers, legal assistance for fathers separated from their children, and educational workshops for partner agencies.
